We are currently working with a specialist engineering business based in Maidstone.
Due to huge growth, they are currently seeking a Business Improvement Manager to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
The Business Improvement Manager will work across a number of departments and will be instrumental in creating business strategies to ensure cost effectiveness. The role will also involve analysis and reporting on a regular basis to the Operations team
Responsibilities will include:
The Business Improvement Manager will be responsible for the following:
HR Management:
* Recruitment of new staff
* Analysis of recruitment levels across the business
* Probation reviews
* Return to work discussions
* Appraisals
* Holiday approvals
Contract Management:
* Customer meetings
* KPI data preparation for meetings
* KPI data mitigation
* Spend analysis reports
* Accumulative KPI report (weekly)
* New contract set up
* Customer open call reporting
* Customer escalations
Helpdesk Management:
* Checking of audits
* Aging report
PPM Management:
* Weekly PPM report
* PPM pack updating
Parts Management:
* Overseeing Parts Manager
Engineering:
* Engineer inductions
* Tech Supervisor reports
Subcontractor:
* New subcontractor inductions
* Monthly analysis of subcontractors
* Subcontractor app/portal/inhouse system set up and support
Operations:
* On call rota management
* Management of company permits
* Review areas of success and failure in the business
* Reviewing stock
* Holiday logging
* Weekly vehicle checks
* Designing training manuals
* Update user packs
IT & Tech:
* Setup of new office desks
* Ordering new equipment
* Mobile phone management
* Update company email lists
* Office phone system management
* Engineer phone set up
Commercial:
* Loss reporting
Apps/Inhouse System:
* Engineer/Customer app/port support
* Logging support tickets
* Setting up new staff
* System improvements
* User permissions
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Improvement/Operations individual to join a growing business that can offer ongoing development and progression. A competitive salary is offered along with benefits including:
20 days' annual leave. Annual leave will increase by 1 day per holiday year from the 3rd year of service, capped at 5 additional days
