Business Analyst | Rochester/Hybrid | £25,000 - £28,000
Our client who is working within the construction type industry is looking to recruit a Analyst to join their busy team in the Medway area. This role offers Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 from home after your probation period, initially you will be required to be in the office 4 out of 5 days. You will work a 37.5 hour week (9am – 5pm with 30 minute lunch).

Reporting into the Finance Director and Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting several business areas: -

• Extracting and manipulating large volumes of data
• Take ownership of regular reports and build enhancements where needed
• Contribute to month end process by providing details profitability analysis to quantify business performance
• Assist with development of our data warehouses logic
• Assist with the maintenance of our ERP systems as required

Essential:
• A Levels
• Advanced Excel skills
• Problem solving skills
• Good communication skills
• High level of accuracy with attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Analytical mindset

You will be required to have
• Degree in Business / Business Analytics / Data Analytics or related field
• Experience of the manufacturing industry
• Experience with BI tools, we use Cognos Analytics
• Commercial reporting experience
• Basic understanding of SQL
• Good presentation skills
• Exposure to ERP systems
• Basic understanding of VBA
• Understanding of profitability and financial terms and concepts
