Motor Recoveries Claims Handler

Full time (Hybrid)

Up to £25,000 DOE + performance related bonus



Pearson Whiffin are currently recruiting for an experienced Motor Recoveries Claims Handler to join my clients team based in Tonbridge. The successful candidate will have previous experience within Motor Recoveries, will be inquisitive and able to think on their feet!



Duties include:

* Achieving the best possible result for Insurer Clients where liability on a claim may be a result of a third party
* Giving advice and guidance to claims staff to make sure recoveries are safeguarded
* Ensure all claims begin at the earliest opportunity
* Review and prepare cases for panel solicitors; dealing with cases in house where appropriate
* Dealing with any debts that are being pursued by solicitors
* Delivering excellent customer service to all clients
* Pass all audits at 95% or above

To be considered for this role, you will have:



* Previous experience as a Motor Recoveries Claims Handler
* A strong attention to detail
* Enthusiastic
* Excellent customer service skills and a polite telephone manner
* Able to use your own initiative but work collaboratively within a team
* An analytical and investigative mindset
* Organised with the ability to meet deadlines
