Group Payroll Manager
£65000 to £75000 per annum

Our client, a highly successful and growing business based in West Kent, is looking to recruit a Group Payroll Manager. In this role you will be managing a team and be responsible for:
- Managing processing of monthly, four weekly, fortnightly and weekly payrolls
- Liaising with HMRC, pension providers, software providers etc as required
- Project managing the implementation of payroll systems as appropriate
- Integrating the payroll of any future company acquisitions
- Payroll reporting to Director of Financial Control and Commercial Finance team as required
- Developing payroll processes and procedures, identifying, and implementing streamlining opportunities and efficiencies whilst ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Providing payroll advice and support to the People Team as well as all operational and departmental managers
- Support the annual financial audit process
- Ensuring the team provide excellent customer service to all employees and parts of the business
- Acting as the point of escalation for payroll queries where required and active monitoring of queries and resolutions within the team
- Approvals of bank payments in line with group policies
- Working closely with the management accounting teams to support accurate and timely reporting for the group
The successful candidate will have experience of managing a centralised function in a multi-site environment as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
