My client is seeking a Desktop Refresh Installation Engineer to join their dynamic and exciting team.

An exciting opportunity to make a contribution to our client through setting up and distributing new IT Laptops, Pc's, and Hybrids. This will be a fast paced and dynamic rollout of kit, which will ensure that our crews and corporate staff have the IT products required to deliver their jobs.

What you'll do

* Receive deliveries from suppliers, unbox, asset tag, record equipment on asset system and then store ready for deployment.
* Connect devices to our clients network and carry out predefined tests.
* Deploy additional applications using System Centre Configuration Manager.
* Visit sites across Kent to install new PC's and peripherals onto client site
* Handover laptops at Headquarters to customers.
* Provide predefined training and support on new equipment for customers upon installation and or collection, as required.

What you'll bring

* Good communication skills and empathy towards non-technical customers.
* Will have had previously experience working in an IT environment and involvement in equipment rollouts.
* Experience of Microsoft products such as Windows 10, Word, Excel, and Outlook (including 365 versions).
* Problem solving skills including problem identification and diagnosis.
* Willingness to learn new products and self-motivation.
