Job Title: Production Operative

Salary: £10.50 - £12 p/h DOE

Location: Scaynes Hill

Duration: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break

We are thrilled to be working with a local manufacturer based on the outskirts of Haywards Heath who are currently seeking a Production Operative to join their small and friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy company whose products are exported around the world.



Please note, the job involves occasional heavy lifting and use of PPE (provided) including respirator masks when necessary.



A typical day as a Production Operative will see you:

* Use production machinery to manufacture a range of products
* Mixing products and filling product containers
* Assembly of some products
* Final inspection and product finishing
* Packing goods ready for shipping



To be a Production Operative, you will need to have/be:

* Enthusiastic, friendly and happy to work to deadlines
* Basic mathematical ability as you will be required to calculate weight requirements for products
* Good attention to detail
* The ability to problem solve and adapt to change
* Happy working as part of a small close-knit team
* Previous experience working in a production environment would be an advantage however full training will be provided
