Infrastructure Architect - Azure



I am working with a UK company who are looking for an Architect with strong Azure experience to take on the management of an Azure migration. This will include the initial migration of all apps to focus on an immediate IaaS platform before looking at a wider SaaS migration.



You will need to be able to deal with producing migration and adoption strategies, producing documentation and guide projects and to take on a lead responsibility on all related projects. Office365 is currently in use, however it has not been fully deployed.



There is currently a pure on-premises infrastructure and the company want to move to a more cloud focused environment. The role can be done remotely, however there will be the need to attend the office as and when required.



Required Skills and Experience:

* Previous experience within an architectural role, ideally working at solutions level.
* Strong experience of Azure, developing strategies and leading migration projects.
* Strong experience of producing migration strategies, documentation, road maps etc
* Experience of leading projects, managing project resources including people and suppliers.
* Wider knowledge of the Microsoft suite of applications / technologies
* Holding TOGAF or Azure certifications would be a real advantage
