Our client is looking to hire 5 foundry casting mould makers to join our client a prestigious engineering business working predominately for major automotive, defence & Motor Sport industries.

This is a unique opportunity for individuals that are reliable and hardworking, to retrain as a mould maker within our clients foundry operation. Following extensive training you will be processing the build of sand bonded moulds for cylinder heads, turbine housing, compressors etc.

The metal casting sector is experiencing huge growth and continues to rise with our client experiencing unprecedented business growth in the last 2 years, therefore this is an excellent time to consider switching into a new sector and for those interested in further education our client offers a range of apprenticeships and sector specific Diplomas in Foundry Engineering. Each role has full training and if you have passion for manufacturing you will learn all about 3D geometry in sand and metal, using power tools to grind and deburr castings.

To be successful in this role our client is looking for is reliability , commitment and a passion for engineering and manufacturing processes, on top of this you will need a high level of physical fitness and the aptitude to work to extremely high levels of technical accuracy (+/- 0.1m).

So if you have worked in a foundry, building industry, metal fabrication, composite manufacture, or have knowledge of metal finishing or the use of air power tools then this is a fresh challenge that could be just the role for you. 

You will work a standard 40hr week (Monday – Friday)  with the opportunity to take on extra overtime an enhanced rate
