My client is a Global Managed Services Provider and leading supplier of technology solutions, cloud services, and digital media for both Enterprise and Public Sector Customers, across the UK, European, African and US markets They are looking for an efficient Purchase Ledger Assistant to report to the Finance Assistant.

You will be computer literate and have an eye for detail, able to work under pressure during busy periods where there is a high workload and large volumes of purchase documents and show an ability to resolve problems and liaise with other members of the business including external parties to fulfil your role.

Your main day to day responsibilities will consist of processing purchase Invoice & credit notes to a required standard, vendor Ledger maintenance - including allocating of payments, vendor Ledger Reconciliations - correcting errors & making adjustments where necessary, liaising with Logistics to get invoices receipted where not already actioned, query invoices with vendors when required, support other members of the finance team with administrable tasks as required and maintain Vendor Records, updating with relevant information and details as required. Work as part of the team and with other parts of the business to ensure that the purchase ledger is kept up to date. You will pay close attention to invoice data to ensure that invoices are captured accurately and efficiently. You will offer help to other members of the team during less busy periods to assist with their tasks.
