Mechanical Engineer - Full Time NO SHIFT WORK

Hours 08.00 - 17.00

5 days a week - office based (no hybrid working due to nature of the work)

Innovative and unusual Engineering company are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join them on a full-time permanent basis - no shift work required here! Working from a factory based in the Tonbridge area you will be putting your technical expertise to good use working on bespoke, large-scale products for use within multiple industries. The varied nature of the products mean that this role offers a challenging and interesting workload for a Mechanical Engineer wanting to work Monday to Friday only!

Duties include:

* Working to high quality ISO9001, PED/PESR and EN1090 ensuring documentation is created, filed and archived to high quality standards maintained by all members of staff
* Checking drawings, verifying against Fabrication BoM
* Reconciling P&IDs against the Engineering BoM
* Monitoring status of materials end to end for projects
* Monitoring documentation, chasing suppliers and submitting documentation when requested
* Creating manuals for clients and regulatory boards
* All relevant Engineering work
* Supporting other departments with anything required

The successful candidate will have/be

* A degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Experience in a relevant role - oil and gas background would be an advantage
* Experience in factory manufacturing process
* QA/QC knowledge would be beneficial
* Knowledge of parts order/delivery/storage and assembly process
* Organised, methodical and thorough work ethics with a high attention to detail
* Good knowledge of MS Excel is a must
* Good level of written/spoken English is necessary
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* A team player with a positive work ethic
