The link worker will support work trainees, enabling them to move towards paid employment and apprenticeships. The Link worker will provide support that will enable the work trainee to learn the skills and systems needed to become a valued employee.

About the role

* Work with trainees to explain link process and create Vocational Profiles, CVs, and cover letters
* To develop a pathway for work trainees to move towards employment
* To monitor work trainees progress and provide feedback
* Set out clear goals and actions for the work trainee
* Support Job coaches when allocated a new trainee

About you

* Maintain accurate records as required for monitoring, quality, and audit purposes in accordance with little gate policies
* Manage own workload and prioritise effectively to meet agreed objectives.
* Create workshops and training tailored to the work trainees
* Create action plans and set SMART goals for work trainees and ensure they are supported towards their outcome
* Identify training needs for work trainees in relevant skill and knowledge areas
