You and your team



Reporting to the Head of HR Operations the role holder will lead a team of HR Services Co-ordinators to deliver HR operational excellence through continuous improvement by ensuring all HR administration, systems, processes and procedures are consistently managed and accurately delivered to the required standards and timelines

Your day-to-day task will include (but won’t be limited too):

ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of all HR administration throughout a colleague’s lifecycle from joining to leaving the Bank.
leading, developing and inspiring a team of HR Co-ordinators, setting clear and challenging objectives with a focus on developing the teams capabilities by enhancing skills and knowledge
working closely with the HR Services Administration Manager in Provident to align processes and ways of working looking for improvements and efficiencies through automation
supporting reward on annual cyclical HR processes including, pay, bonus and renewals for private medical and dental insurances
supporting the business with ad hoc projects that focus on improving colleague journey, including onboarding and leaver processes as an example
managing service relationships with third party suppliers, ensuring SLA’s are met and working with procurement on contractual renewals
develop and implement a cyclical continuous improvement programme for all HR Services procedures engaging the team in the review process and ensuring lean six sigma principles are applied
responsible for the day-to-day management of the HR services team; including daily or weekly stand-ups and workload prioritisation, ensuring the HR Services team are supported and working efficiently through effective working practices
building effective working relationships with the Payroll department to ensure a collaborative approach to the delivery of an accurate, effective and efficient monthly payroll process


What you’ll bring to the team



We are seeking an experienced HR Services Manager who is looking for a new challenge. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring manager who is able to bring the best of their people and encourage them to reach their full potential. The candidate will be a process driven problem solver. This individual will be happy to upset the flow (in a productive way) and drive positive changes.



To be successful in this role, the following skills and experience would be advantageous:

Proven experience of successfully leading and motivating a team within a very busy environment
Proven experience of working within an HR Administration environment
Experience of using continuous improvement techniques resulting in efficiencies and process improvements
Experience of using Lean Six Sigma techniques or similar within process improvements


This role is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week working on a hybrid basis (minimum of 2 days a week from the office). This role will be based from our Chatham office with the rest of the team.
