Main Duties and Responsibilities



An establish, global service provider to insurers, brokers and MGA's within the Lloyds marketplace are looking for an experienced Reinsurance Technician with a strong understanding of reinsurance premium processing to be responsible for the technical processing of accounts within the Broker Services team. In this role you will work with a specific Broker Client and build relationships and understanding.



Responsibilities include:

* Full end-to-end responsibility of all technical aspects of assigned client treaty accounts
* Creating risk records within the clients broking system
* Processing tasks accurately in an efficient manner by month end deadlines
* Investigating any discrepancies between calculated Premiums and instructions received from the client
* Reviewing accuracy of accounts documentation and calculations, including complex accounts such as Sliding Scale Commission, Reinstatement Premium, Profit Commission, Premium and Loss Reserve Deposits
* Processing claim and reserve updates for allocated accounts
* Provide technical training and assistance to other members of staff
* Identify and escalate any issues impacting service performance
* Provide meaningful MI and analysis to Client Manager
* Resolve issues internally and support resolutions externally



Skills and Experience



* 3+ years reinsurance experience and technical knowledge acquired within the broking sector
* Experience of working within a technical capacity within the Reinsurance sector across multiple lines of business
* Current working knowledge of London Market broker procedures and systems such as IMR, ECF and LORS
* Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations
* ensure assigned tasks are actioned accurately and ensure agreed Service Levels are met
* Excellent communication skills
* Conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with Clients and colleagues
