Group Flights Consultant

West Kent

£25k - £30k DOE



An exciting opportunity for a Group Flights Consultant has arisen to join a well-established Travel company in West Kent.



The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a travel-based role, pride themselves on their ability to provide a high level of customer service and be confident working on business air travel needs.



Duties include;

* To maintain and develop fantastic client relationships with regards to all enquiries, regularly updating clients on all relevant information such as turnaround times
* Manage client proposals; always ensuring that proposals are relevant, accurate, commercially viable and stand out
* Identifying opportunities for add on services and events using your destination knowledge and commercial awareness
* Actively follow up with clients to gain feedback and to support the process of ongoing business
* To always be looking for opportunities to seek new business
* Travel with clients as required and to be on site handling all issues that may arise



Further essential experience and characteristics include;

* Previous experience of working in this capacity booking business air travel and have strong GDS knowledge
* Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
* Strong destination knowledge
* Willing to work flexible hours when required supporting events
* The ability to multitask and prioritise a busy workload meeting all client SLAs
* IT Savvy - MS Office competent, Google Documents and online meeting tools (Teams)
* A natural problem solver and calm under pressure
* An excellent standard of spelling and grammar, confident in proof reading
