Our client based in Kings Hill is looking for an Assistant Treasury Accountant to join their Team

The Role

The Assistant Treasury Accountant supports the Treasury Manager and is responsible for monitoring daily cash positions and preparing daily cash forecasts.
You'll be involved in a range of treasury functions such as bank reconciliations, payments and treasury reporting.

Key Duties

* Daily cash management
* Liaise with the wider business to collect information on cash payments due over the short/medium/long term.
* Populate cash flow forecasts daily
* Prepare daily cash flash reporting.
* Manage drawdown requests against funding availability and Finance Agreements.
* Ensure all funding transactions are correctly recorded.
* Weekly bank reconciliation for Limited company and LLP Bank accounts.
* Process and authorise online banking transactions through on-line banking software used by different banks and Bottomline, including CHAPS, BACS, Faster payments, International Payments, and group transfers.
* Manage the administration of company credit cards (payments) and credit card portals (receipts).
* Prepare monthly treasury dashboard for review with senior management
* Provide cover and support for Supplier Payments Runs, Customer Direct Debit collection runs, Bank Reconciliations and Cashflow Reporting.

* Ideally the candidate should be an AAT trainee.
* Adaptable to change
* Accurate with their work
* Works well under pressure
* Capable of meeting deadlines
* IT literate
* Capable of suggesting process improvements
