Brand New Role!! Lead IT Service Transition Manager

Job Title: Lead IT Service Transition Manager Location: Flexible, for people who can carry out their activity from almost anywhere whilst C-19 restrictions are in place. However, once restrictions are lifted, you will be expected to work from the West Sussex site, at least two days per week.

Please note that ideally we are looking for the candidates based within commutable distance of Durrington, West Sussex Hours: 37 (Monday to Friday, + IT Standby) Positions: 1 Contract: Permanent Salary: Up to £70,000 p.a. subject to experience

Benefits: Up to 11% pension contribution; performance related annual bonus; 25 days holiday plus bank holidays; Perk Box (discount scheme); BUPA health cash plan The Role We are currently seeking an experienced Lead IT Service Transition Manager to join our developing, fast-paced and delivery driven IT Team in Durrington, West Sussex. If you have a proven track record of executing process development and change, as well as significant experience in Senior IT Service management disciplines and working with service level performance management - please get in touch!

You will utilise your leadership and team management skills to line manage and supervise our Service Transition team, which will include mentoring, performing performance appraisals and ensuring career development plans are in place for each Service Transition Specialist on the team. On the high level,
you will:

* Maintain Service Transition Management resource utilisation and demand, allocating existing resources to suitable transition projects and identifying where recruitment of temporary resource is required, profiling STM resource type and recruiting/flexing as necessary.
* Take responsibility for end to end Service Transition governance, policy, process and procedures.
* Undertake the role of Service Transition Specialist when necessary for more complex Transition projects/programmes - Ensures clarity on the division of responsibilities for service components ensuring there are no gaps in the provision of the full end to end service
* Take responsibility for implementing the strategic direction for Service Transition set by the Service Delivery Management Manager, as well as work as a Service Transition Management specialist on complex programmes. It would be beneficial if you demonstrated the following:
* Agile Project Management and Transition
* Programme Management experience * ITIL (V3, V4)
