We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to be based at their Eastbourne campus within the Sensory Learning department. Their entry provision is a bespoke provision for young adults who have profound and multiple difficulties and provides a wide ranging curriculum promoting independence and life skills.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the SEND Coordinator and curriculum teams to ensure the provision meets needs identified within the EHCP or SEN Support plan.

* Support students to achieve within the teaching and learning environment both practical and classroom based
* Encourage them to develop independent learning skills

About you

* Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and experience
* Experience of supporting young people with a variety of learning difficulties and disabilities
