A superb opportunity for a Pastry Chef to join a beautiful Grade II listed Hotel in acres of landscape gardens, lakes and woods. The Restaurant has recently been awarded two AA Rosettes for it's consistently high quality of cooking and excellent service, catering for weddings, conferences and private parties up to 250 guests.

Duties and responsibilities would include the following:

* Creating, preparing and cooking of foods
* Producing beautifully presented cakes, desserts and chocolates
* Selecting and ordering raw materials
* Coordinating pastry kitchen operations
* Planning and optimizing production based on expected sales
* Ensuring visually appealing eye catching confectionery
* Keeping all kitchen equpiment in good working order

Key Skills required

* A high degree of technical skills and expertise
* The ability to design and produce a wide range of confectionery
* Previous experience as a Pastry Chef able to produce high standards of confectionery
* Be well organised with excellent attention to detail
* A good team player able to work at a fast pace
