Our client, a Retail and Savings Bank, are seeking a Proposition Innovation Manager to join their Marketing team.

Purpose of the role:

To drive and influence new innovative thinking across the product development and proposition for the company lending brands with specific focus on Fintech and ESG. The role holder will lead the development of a Green product strategy across the Proposition team and partner with management teams from across the business to help identify, evaluate and develop a research framework aligned with the company's approach to a sustainable business model.



Key responsibilities include:

* To work closely with the Head of Insight in supporting with analysis and innovative thinking on product proposition for the company's lending brands.
* To work alongside the Insight teams, to help deliver against the strategic and tactical goals of the lending proposition team in terms of fintech developments in the industry and enhancements made by competitors.
* Responsible for carrying out constant analysis and providing information on fintech investments to The Head of Insight and other senior stakeholders with a key input into the prioritisation of these opportunities.
* Producing related reports and delivering relevant training to potential user groups from junior team members to more senior positions.
* Identify and clearly articulate to Senior managers in the Mortgage Product department, new fintech developments and how these could enhance the company's lending proposition.
* Create and own a 360 horizon scanning process to spot threats and opportunities in the market, presented to senior management group within Mortgage product.
* Monitor competitor investments and initiatives in fintech and report on the threats these pose to the Group.
* Work closely with the wider ESG team to implement appropriate climate change focused products that contribute to the Groups "Green" Strategy.
* Partner with management teams from across the business to help identify, evaluate and develop a research framework aligned with the company's approach to sustainable business model.
* Assist with all aspects of integrating ESG considerations and solutions into all lending customer journeys (broker and borrowers).



The candidate:

* Specialist knowledge on current fintech developments
* Understanding of climate change initiatives and direction of travel
* 3 years previous experience in fintech product development, design and implementation
* 3 years previous experience in business analysis and strategic planning
* Previous experience in financial service sector
* Detailed knowledge of how to provide robust reports and MI
* Basic knowledge of regulated environments is desirable, in particular knowledge of ESG
