We are looking for two coordinators to manage the day-to-day operation of the Facilities and Reception Services team, providing excellent customer services at the Welcome Desk and the Facilities Management Services in Templeman Library and other buildings managed by the Information Services team.

You will work as part of the team, ensuring that the team provides an efficient, effective, friendly and flexible reception and facilities service to customers of the Templeman Library, including students, staff and visitors. You will participate in a rota, covering hours between 7.30am and 11pm on weekdays and weekends.

As a Facilities and Reception Services Coordinator you will:

Supervise the high-quality, customer focused service delivery at the Welcome Desk and of the facilities services.
Be responsible for the Facilities and Reception Services team, including recruitment, induction, probation, professional development and performance management.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of the services delivered at by the Facilities and Reception Services team.
To succeed in this role you will have:

Excellent customer service and IT skills to support the complex services delivered by the team.
Ability to supervise and support the team members to ensure high quality service delivery.
Excellent organisational skills to plan and implement service improvements.
Ability to work in partnership with teams across the Information Services and wider University.
