If you pride yourself on your attention to detail, your strong IT skills and an ability to deal confidently with a range of people, this full-time position within Digital and Lifelong Learning (DaLL) could be a great opportunity for you to join the University and develop your experience in a supportive environment.

You will join a busy team, providing support for administrative services across the DaLL programmes and provision, contributing to a positive student experience and ensuring relevant regulations, policies and procedures are adhered to. You will therefore need to keep up to date with changes, work to deadlines and respond flexibly to competing priorities.

There are two posts available, one is permanent and the other is for an 18 month fixed term/secondment.

As Programmes and Administration Assistant you will:
provide a broad range of support administrative services across all programmes including student applications, inductions, module material, VLE (such as Moodle), progression reviews, student support, requests for extensions and so on, examinations, examination boards and various committees
undertake a number of general administrative duties to ensure that DaLL adheres to policies, processes and procedures of the University, Quality Assurance (QA), Ofsted, ESFA and Code of Practice
update DaLL student databases, reporting and CRM (or similar) systems, ensuring the information is current and up to date and complies with GDPR
act as point of contact for students, apprentices, prospective employers, external examiners, collaborative partners, staff and visitors to DaLL

To succeed in this role you will have:
English and Maths GCSE grade 4/C or above, or equivalent
expertise in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
excellent oral and written communication skills
ability to produce documents to a high standard and to have a good eye for detail
