Barker Munro recruitment is assisting an expanding Insurance organisation in recruiting additional Claims handlers into the busy team.
This is a superb role for an experienced TPPD Negotiator to work within this friendly and long established team being responsible for the management and negotiation of motor claims from notification to closure at minimum cost.
You will be required to ensure that all new claims actions have been completed, review reserves at regular intervals, consider liability and if non fault ensure that the recovery process has been put in place. Where at fault and Third Party have instigated a claim, prioritise Credit Hire Claims. Where liability is an issue ensure early investigation and contact with witnesses to determine liability and contain costs and proactively obtain information and follow up inspections and investigation requests.
Excellent communication skills will be required as when advising a Policyholder/Third Party what is required next, you will need to ensure that they have a clear understanding, agreeing time scales for the next step.
We are seeking applications from experienced Motor Claims negotiators with some Third Party Property experience.
This role is currently working from home but there will be a hybrid working bring introduced soon with will require a split hybrid role work possibly 2 /3 days in the office each week.
