Do you have experience of working in an international student recruitment and marketing environment? Do you have proven success in developing and managing effective international networks and external relationships?

This position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of international student recruitment to Kent, the development of Kent’s global network of international schools, progression partners and student recruitment agencies and to enhance Kent’s profile internationally.

As International Officer (IFP), you will:

Recruit international students to ensure international student recruitment targets for Kent’s foundation courses and recruitment objectives are met
Prepare statistics and market intelligence to inform the strategy and define geographical priorities.
Build up expert cultural knowledge, market intelligence and relationships with key influencers and stakeholders.
Develop Kent’s network of international schools offering GCSE or equivalent level qualifications to raise the University’s profile, boost engagement and ensure high levels of foundation recruitment from this network

To be successful in this role you will have/be:

Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualification or experience) in any discipline
Proven experience of working in an international student recruitment and marketing environment
Knowledge of international student recruitment markets, in particular, regions/markets where foundation programmes are needed to progress to UK HE
Experience of working with International Recruitment Agencies
