If you have excellent administrative and organisational skills and are looking for an exciting and rewarding new challenge, the role of Course & Programme Administrative Assistant in the Medway Student Administration Office could be right for you.
In this role you will work with other Professional Service Departments and Divisions across the University to provide administrative management of the University’s courses and programmes. You will help manage and co-ordinate the delivery of all student record administrative business processes associated with modules, assessment, progression and award, ensuring we are successful in delivering the University’s core objectives and administration standards meet the University’s quality assurance guidelines.
As Course & Programme Administrative Assistant you will:
lead on delegated tasks within the skilled Course & Programmes Management Team, to ensure the smooth running of Course and Programmes Administration is of a consistently high quality
act as a point of reference to give advice and guidance to staff on policy and procedural matters and information concerning Course and Programmes administrative procedures
ensure that system data is reliable, of high quality, and consistent with the University’s regulations and business processes, in order to provide a level of assurance and accountability
To be successful in this role you will have/be:
an experienced user of databases and student record-keeping
proficient in the planning, organising, resourcing, and monitoring of ongoing jobs and projects
excellent interpersonal skills – establishing relationships and maintaining contacts with people from a variety of backgrounds
the ability to deal flexibly with a wide range of situations and to be proactive
These activities require a high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise conflicting demands whilst maintaining precision in meeting rigorous deadlines. The Medway Student Administration Office is responsible for maintaining and updating critical student information and managing large scale central student operations, including registration, module registration and examinations.
