The Research and Innovation team in the Division for the Study of Law, Society and Social Justice, are looking for a skilled administrator with the ability to undertake a wide range of responsibilities to support and facilitate research activities. Responsibilities will span administrative support, intelligence gathering and assisting with the co-ordination of research-related events; in all cases ensuring compliance with set policies and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
As a Research & Innovation Administrator you will:
Support academic colleagues to carry out research and innovation activities
Administer a range of systems to ensure that records relating to research, innovation and enterprise award applications and outcomes are accurately maintained
Assist in maintaining an up-to-date record of all research, innovation and enterprise grants
Provide administrative support for the divisional Research Centres and the Research & Innovation Committee
Liaise with the divisional Marketing, Recruitment and External Relations team to ensure that research and innovation activities are suitably publicised.
To be successful in this role you will be/have:
GCSE in English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above), or equivalent
Previous administrative experience in a customer facing role
Good IT skills, with sound knowledge of MS packages
Good organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to communicate effectively and clearly both verbally and in writing
