About the role: We have a rare and exciting opportunity to appoint a Healthcare Assistant to join and enhance the work of the established medical team, under the supervision and guidance of a Registered Nurse. The successful candidate will undertake delegated personal care duties for pupils, for which training and supervision has been given.

The basis of the role is Term Time + 1 week, 31.25 hours per week (08:45 to 15:30 each day with half an hour lunch) and fixed term until April 2022 in the first instance. ​​​​​​​

Help our students reach their full potential: Milestone Academy is a large special school for pupils with Profound, Severe and Complex needs, and is part of Leigh Academies Trust. We currently have 380 pupils on roll aged between the ages of 2 and 19. The majority of our pupils are based at the main school site in New Ash Green, with other cohorts of pupils attending one of our satellite provisions based at other mainstream Leigh Academies Trust schools – Cherry Orchard Primary Academy, Dartford Primary Academy, The Leigh Academy and Wilmington Academy – allowing us to share best practice in every way possible. Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2021, our Trust will comprise 31 geographically organised academies (15 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing 2,500 talented staff.
