KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Overall receptionist/hospitality duties for Pack House and Office
• Company vehicles administration for BGL and BGG including Pool Vehicle

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Meet and greet all visitors to Berry Gardens
• Answering and transferring incoming calls
• Postal duties- opening, distributing, and franking post on a daily basis, distributing internal post to appropriate departments
• Booking of meeting rooms
• Hospitality including ordering and providing refreshments for meetings
• Booking taxis and ad hoc travel requests
• Arrange GoTo meetings for the wider team
• Raising purchase orders for invoices as and when required
• Assisting with the administration for company vehicles, for BGL and BGG including pool vehicle(s)
• Assisting with general administration as instructed on an ad-hoc basis
• Responsible for event booking forms, responses and organising changes where appropriate
• Assisting with arrangements and liaison for company events both externally and internally
• Attend events as required to support the business
• Support internal BG events, community projects and donations
• Ordering office supplies, stationary and equipment and updating/balancing the expense account and Administration credit card

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Evidence of experience in a similar role, (within the soft fruit industry would be an advantage)
• Strong appreciation of our business needs and resourcefulness in coming up with solutions to their challenges
• Ability to relate to key client personnel in a professional and credible fashion
• Well-developed personal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a wide range of employees
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team with colleagues across professional, operational and cultural boundaries
• Proactive approach and prompt responses to all service requests
• Ability to identify needs and issues and recommended suitable and pragmatic courses to action and solutions, adopting a risk aware approach.
• Good time management and organisational skills with the ability to handle a number of tasks at once and meeting deadlines as required
• Very good organisational skills
• Good IT skills including experience of Word, Excel, Outlook and experience with using a switchboard
