Taught Programmes Administrator

£20,130 to £21,814 per annum

If you have solid administrative experience in a customer facing role, with excellent all round communication skills, we would welcome your application for this role. The appointment will be fixed term for the purpose of providing maternity leave cover.

You will provide end-to-end student administrative support to the academic portfolio of taught courses and programmes within the Division of Computing, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, utilising your broad understanding of the routine activities required to ensure the smooth and efficient administration of the taught programmes in the Division (including HDAs in most Divisions), you will be responsible for responding to students and colleagues from across the University as well as visitors and external contacts on routine matters.

As Taught Programmes Administrator you will:

act as a point of contact for all taught students, UG and PGT (including HDAs in most Divisions), advising on a wide range of matters to support a positive student experience
provide a broad range of support and administrative service across all taught programmes
provide administrative support to the Division's Exam Boards and Mitigation Committee(s)
undertake a number of general administrative duties related to programme administration

To be successful in this role you will have/be:

previous administrative experience in a customer facing role
good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages (intermediate level)
excellent communication and presentation skills, able to communicate effectively and clearly both verbally and in writing
experience of minute taking
