Mission Aviation Fellowship International (MAFI) is a worldwide family of Christian organisations whose mission is to use light aircraft, and other technologies to bring help and hope to people living in some of the worlds most isolated communities.

We have an opportunity for someone to join the recruitment team in providing administrative support. This will be on an initial 12 month contract basis, working 17 hours per week.

You will love variety and can manage a number of different tasks at any one time. You will need a flexible approach as no two days are ever the same! You will also enjoy working cross culturally.

This role will suit someone who is a motivated administrator, confident with technology, with a high degree of attention to detail and a genuine interest in recruitment.

In return you will play a part in bringing in new people to serve with MAF. We are a very busy team and we work hard but we also make time for fun and of course cake!

Responsibilities will include:

Posting jobs directly on relevant websites, our own careers portal and social media channels.

Managing our recruitment inbox, ensuring enquirers are responded to in an appropriate and timely manner.

Using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to administer applications and candidate data.

Arranging and facilitating interview days.

Supporting the compilation of quarterly and annual reports in relation to recruitment activity.

Assisting with the organisation of bi-annual orientation course

We are looking for someone with excellent administrative and time management skills.

You will be proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel.

You will be able to communicate effectively through verbal and written skills, and be able to deal sensitively and appropriately with confidential information.

Experience of using databases.

Ideally you will have experience working in a recruitment or HR support role.

Please note this role would normally be based in our Ashford office but due to the current covid19 situation there maybe a requirement to work from home in the interim.

There is an occupational requirement for the job holder of this position to be a committed Christian. The post holder will be expected to lead and take part in prayer and biblical reflection and to be a role model for the organisation in accordance with our Christian beliefs and standards in the work place.
