IT TECHNICIAN (JKS) – FULL TIME

We require an IT Support Technician to work within the I.T department at the Junior Kings School. The successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week all year round.

The ideal candidate should have good experience of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of apps, including Teams and, ideally, some SharePoint knowledge.

The purpose of the job will be to provide support to both staff and pupil users of computing services as well as day to day supervision of the IT Team.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
• To assist and support pupils, staff and visitors in their use of computing services throughout the School.
• To assist in the maintenance and technical operation of the school’s networks and computing hardware and software, including the deployment of appropriate software.
• To help maintain and support the schools Planet estream service. Providing support to staff with uploading, editing and finding media content for use in the classroom and digital signage screens across the school.
• Maintain a high level of customer service for all support queries including ownership feedback, allocation and follow up. Utilisation of support desk and conformity to ITIL processes.
