We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an In Work Support Officer to join our team working on the Love London Working Active Inclusion project across various London offices.



We'll look to you to provide on-going 1:1 job retention support to a caseload of customers with multiple and complex needs to return and sustain in work for at least six months. The role aims to support employers to realise the potential of customer groups who currently are less likely to secure sustained employment.



Acting as a champion for disability friendly practices, you'll support the development of employer led training programmes alongside Clarion Futures and specialist training providers to address needs of this participant group.

Some other key duties include:



* Brokering opportunities with employers to provide work placements, apprenticeships and guaranteed interviews for vacant posts
* Participating in setting up "meet the employer events" to promote employer vacancies by conducting presentations to participant and information days on the programme.
* Negotiating reasonable adjustments with employers maximising the chances of customers starting and sustaining work
* Escorting customers to interview and encouraging them along the way on their first week to ensure that they are well prepared.
* Visiting the customer on site once a week to review their progress during the week and follow this up for up to one month if needed.



The successful candidate will have proven experience of delivering employer support and recruitment services as well as the ability to build partnerships and networks across a range of employment sectors. You'll also need solid knowledge of current DWP government initiatives & experience of ESF programmes. Ideally you'll come to us with graduate level education and knowledge of employment policy.
