IT Apprenticeship

£9,163.20

Sittingbourne, Kent

Tribeca Technology Ltd

Build your IT career at the fastest growing IT company in Kent

You’ll join our first line team, who are responsible for answering calls and emails from our clients. You’ll sit with experienced members of the team, they’ll give you tasks to do and teach you about our clients systems, and how to resolve their IT problems. By the end of your apprenticeship you will be answering the phone resolving issues yourself, using the IT knowledge you’ll gain at college, on the job, and through our internal training programme. Sometimes you’ll also visit London sites, helping with office moves and projects as they come up. Our goal is always to give you the learning needed to earn a place on the first line team, and 84% of our apprentices have been offered a permanent job on our team.

The start date is 1 September. We are carrying out risk assessments and are monitoring the situation, and expect you to spend half your time in the office, and half your time working from home. We will make sure you have the equipment to do so.

You’ll be trained by a provider called Estio in a block learning format, and within 12 months, gain a Level 3 qualification as an Infrastructure Technician. Currently, all their training and tutor support is delivered online, and you will not be asked to go to London until it is safe to do so.

While in the role you will gain exposure to:

Active Directory
Microsoft Exchange & 365
Microsoft Servers
Virtualisation (VMware, vSphere, HyperV)
Office Operation Systems

You will learn how to configure & maintain:
Switches
Routers
VLANs
Firewalls
SANs
Servers
PCs

You can trust our scheme will give you everything you need to earn and learn. We’ve been running apprenticeships for 9 years now. Our scheme was a finalist in the Apprenticeship of the Year category at the KEiBA awards, and we've been named Employer of the Year in 2018 and 2019 at the Swale Business Awards. We have a track record of apprentices staying with us for the long run and establishing their careers, with some studying at degree and masters levels through us right now, as well as receiving multiple promotions.

To qualify we would like to see an A Level or Level 3 qualification in IT, but what’s most important is your enthusiasm and commitment to learn. Due to the location of our office, you must be able to drive as there are no reliable buses, and the nearest train station is a 50 minute walk.
