Social Worker - Canterbury Supporting Independence

£29,446 - £39,613 per annum (Salary dependent on experience and progression through the Career Grade is based on the fulfilment of required capabilities)

We are looking for motivated, experienced professionals who are committed to working in an integrated team and ready to embrace new ways of working, to help further shape our services.

As a Social Worker working with people over the age of 18 with a wide range of disabilities, you will manage a caseload requiring assessment, review and on-going support to make a real difference in achieving improved outcomes and leading to independent living for the service user.

Alongside opportunities for training and development, you will receive the support you need and recognition for your good work.

This is an exciting time to join us and informal visits prior to interview are welcomed from people who share our values and are ready to be part of our exciting journey. 

A Social Work qualification is required. For internal applicants only an Occupational Therapy or Nursing qualification will be considered eligible.

Occasionally you will be expected to work outside normal office hours and at weekends to optimise support to service users and provide a responsive, seamless and multi-disciplinary approach.

This post is predominantly based at Brook House, Whitstable but the post holder could be asked to work occasionally in Ashford to meet business needs as necessary.

Due to the current situation it may be necessary to hold interviews via video conferencing.
