DEMELZA PROVIDES SPECIALIST CARE AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH TERMINAL CONDITIONS AND THEIR LOVED ONES, ACROSS KENT, EAST SUSSEX AND SOUTH EAST LONDON.

We help with every element of life for a child or young person with a terminal condition by providing tailored care. From diagnosis through to end of life and bereavement services, we\'re there for that journey.

We seek an individual to work proactively in offering support, advice, and information to young people using Demelza services. You will have experience of working with young people and their families in a multidisciplinary setting, and a qualification relevant to child/social care.

With a proven record of supporting families in the health, educational or social settings and/or family home, you will have with a clear understanding of the issues they face. You will be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills, with a high level of organisation and the ability to manage and re-prioritise a changing workload.

This role requires you to be adaptable and work flexibly, with a tactful approach to problem solving. A valid driving licence and a willingness to travel is essential to this role as you will be required to travel through the Demelza region.

Please note this is a temporary contract for a period of 12 months.
