About the role: The Leigh Academy have a fantastic opportunity and are seeking to appoint an Assistant Exams Officer to join and lead team. Reporting directly to the Exams Officer, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced candidate to join a supportive team and work in an Academy-wide position. You will assist the Exams Officer in the preparation and conducting of internal and external examinations at The Leigh Academy, including candidates wishing to re-sit a paper and private candidates who wish to sit exams at school. The working basis of this role is 20 hours per week (Part-Time) during Term Time plus four additional weeks during inset/school holiday periods.

Working with Leigh Academies Trust: As of September 2019, our Trust is comprised of 25 geographically organised academies (11 secondaries, 13 primaries and 1 special) educating over 15,000 students, and employing over 2,500 talented staff. We also have three further academies in development phase, due to open bet+ween September 2020-2021. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North West Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training providers and a large teaching school.
