Account Manager / Senior Account Manager

At Fabrick the Account Managers / Senior Account Managers are responsible for the overall wellbeing of the client account. They should be the first port of call for clients and should be able to provide a high level of customer service. The role covers two key areas, PR management and client service.

Client service – roles and responsibilities

• Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
• Working in conjunction with the Head of Strategy to set targets and KPIs which are aligned with the client’s business strategies
• Ensure brand consistency
• Stay up-to-date with product launches and provide support to clients
• Organise meetings with the client/marketing team to ensure all members are on board and deliver within deadlines
• Supervise and support junior account managers to ensure client satisfaction
• Work with the full Fabrick team to generate innovative ideas to support customers and boost strategies month-on-month
• Use client feedback to improve customer experience
• Report on campaign results on a regular basis (both internally as a matter of best practice but also externally to the client)
• Identify and approach potential clients, working with the MD and Head of Strategy in the process for new business
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our services and agreed projects/campaigns
• Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly campaigns to the client
• Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet businesses goals and objectives
• Forecast and track key financials on the account such as hours and invoicing

PR – roles and responsibilities

• Support the copywriters in writing press releases, news stories, articles, case studies and product pieces
• Pitch press releases and feature ideas by phone or email to national, regional and trade journalists, across print, broadcast and online, to interest them in covering their clients’ stories
• Respond to queries and interest from journalists
• Grow your network of journalists and bloggers through networking events and opportunities such as LinkedIn
• Arrange interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients’ spokespeople
• Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients
• Attend client events and industry conferences – supporting where necessary
• Brainstorm fresh ideas for PR campaigns
