Well established transport company specialising in the overnight national distribution of fresh produce to wholesale fruit and vegetable markets.

Location; Staplehurst (Nr Marden,) Kent

The role; Picking, Checking, pallet breakdowns, unloading & loading of HGV’s

Shift pattern; Monday – Friday plus alternate Sundays

Environment; Temperature controlled warehouse (Store range +1 to +8 degrees)

Income; Very competitive hourly pay plus enhanced Sunday rate.

Reporting to Warehouse Supervisor your duties will include;

Order Picking from stock / order assembly (manual case picking to customer orders)
Stock checking (Daily physical stock check)
Pallet breakdowns (manual handling/sorting of boxed produce)
Unloading / Loading HGV’s
Checking / counting product arrivals by pallet
Pallet labelling
Load checking for despatch

Ideal candidate to have;

Previous warehouse experience in case pick operations
MHE (PPT / FLT) experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to thrive in a busy, fast paced warehouse environment
Ability to work effectively using your own initiative.
Ability to work effectively and interact as part of a team
Flexible approach to start and finish times to meet the requirements of the business


Please note the shift times are generally (but not limited to) between the hours of 1000 and 2200hrs (Typical shift 1200 - 2130hrs) although flexibility is required at all times to suit the requirements of the business. We distribute fresh produce and daily volumes vary.
