Location: Bexley
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours) and part time (30 hours) positions available
Salary: £24,400 per annum plus £1,000 London waiting (pro rata for part time roles)
Contract: 1 year fixed term

The Role: You will be working with people living in Porchlight supported accommodation and in community settings to prevent them from becoming homeless and help rebuild family relationships. A big part of the role is providing support to overcome the trauma of homelessness and help people rebuild their lives, including helping them with mental health and substance misuse, accessing housing benefits, getting into education and employment and setting up their home.


The role requires:
-Excellent communication and people skills
-Some knowledge / experience of working with homeless or vulnerable people however candidates without this experience / knowledge will still be considered as full training and ongoing support will be provided
-Driver with own transport
