Salary: HE £34.00 per hour, FE £19.12 per hour

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Lecturer to teach across a range of Horticulture courses at Hadlow College. The successful candidate will need to be educated to degree level, or Level 4 to deliver FE with practical experience within the horticultural industry, and be passionate about their area of Horticulture. Professional experience in production, hard/soft landscaping, amenity horticulture or garden design is desirable.
In addition to the requirements detailed above, the ideal candidate will have teaching experience in a practical and/or classroom setting, together with a teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards one. Courses are delivered across a range of provision types including schools, FE and HE, so applicants will also need to demonstrate that they can be adaptable, resourceful and resilient, have excellent communication and IT skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check and provide proof of their right to work in the UK. Where applicable, a prohibition check will be carried out.
