Hours Full time. 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

We are seeking a self - motivated person to provide additional technical assistance to our lecturing staff. You will also take responsibility in supervising work experience placements, volunteers and students. As an instructor you will be demonstrating and providing practical instruction in Equine Studies to students following a variety of modes of study. This is a live in role and accommodation on site is subsidised. You will be required to support students on duties on a rotational basis including some weekends and evenings.

You will need a full Level 3 or above equine qualification. You will also need to have, or be willing to work towards, literacy and numeracy skills at Level 2 or equivalent. The ability to communicate effectively is an essential pre-requisite for this role, along with at least one year’s relevant practical experience within the Equine industry.

As well as a contributory pension scheme, salary sacrifice scheme and free car parking, this post also attracts 30 days’ holiday per annum, excluding bank holidays.

The successful candidate will also receive regular equine training and have the opportunity to take further qualifications such as British Horse Society exams.
Candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) and to provide proof of their right to work in the UK.
