Do you have experience of providing high quality administrative support and the ability to work using your own initiative whilst planning your own workload? If you are able to maintain accuracy when dealing with data, then this could be a wonderful opportunity for you to join our busy HR Operations Team in Human Resources for a full time, fixed term period until 31 March 2020.

As HR Assistant you will:

support the HR Operations Team in providing a complete HR administrative service
accurately update and maintain the integrated HR and Payroll system
liaise with departments to accurately calculate and process resignations
develop and maintain knowledge of conditions of service, contractual entitlements and processes, in order to advise and guide departments

To be successful in this role you will have:

an education to GCSE level (Grade A-C pass), or equivalent
experience of data input where accurate data entry was key
excellent oral and written communication skills
a strong focus on attention to detail

The Operations and Reward section of HR comprises three teams with responsibility for HR Operations, HR Systems and Planning, and Reward.

HR Operations are responsible for pre-employment checks, the issue of contracts, the maintenance of employee records and the provision of advice on terms and conditions of employment. For further details, please visit: www.kent.ac.uk/human-resources
