Are you looking for an opportunity to really make a difference?

We're currently recruiting a Corporate Sustainability Officer to support the delivery of our Sustainability Strategy across Clarion Housing Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work with teams across the business to reduce Clarion's environmental footprint.



About the role

Reporting directly to the Head of Sustainability, you'll support with developing, overseeing and implementing an Environmental Management System. You'll work with key internal stakeholders across Clarion to identify and increase understanding of key environmental risk areas then develop action plans with appropriate measurement and reporting.



Other responsibilities will include:

* Leading work on staff engagement on sustainability and manage implementation of online engagement platform, events and training
* Proactively developing relationships with teams and managers across Clarion (e.g. the facilities team) to ensure that the Environmental Management System is rolled out, adhered to and appropriate monitoring is taking place.
* Working with internal teams to deliver key sustainability projects (e.g. fleet electrification)



About you

Educated to degree level or equivalent in Environmental Management or similar, you'll already have prior experience/knowledge of working in the environmental or energy and climate change roles. You'll have sound experience of delivering environmental activities and projects and working with environmental management systems within a large organisation. Excellent communication, prioritisation and analytical skills are also essential for the role.
