Test Analyst

£34,804 to £40,322 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join Information Services (IS). You will be responsible for championing, organising and delivering technical and User Acceptance Testing to improve the quality and consistency of services provided through our systems

As Test Analyst you will:

Organise and deliver testing to ensure delivery of quality services
Champion testing within the team and with system users; selling the benefits of comprehensive automated and manual testing throughout development and into production to ensure a quality product is delivered
Improve testing processes, frameworks and tools, enabling more efficient, thorough and consistent testing across systems and services
Write and maintain relevant documentation to enable clear understanding of testing processes and results
To be successful in this role you will have:

Experience in software testing with a successful track record as a Test Analyst
Hands-on testing experience within a whole range of functional testing including UAT, acceptance and system testing
Writing and executing test scripts and testing non-functional requirements
Information Services is comprised of four sections: Customer Support, Library Collections and IT Development together directly support almost all areas of University activity, and the Planning and Administration section supports the work of the department.
