Relief Matron - Term time only - King's School, Canterbury

£10.39 per hour (including holiday pay)

Canterbury, Kent

The King's School

Relief Matrons are required to join the Matron team as soon as available. These posts have no allocated hours and so genuine flexibility and the availability to stand in at very short notice is essential. The post will however also require you to be on call one or two nights per week on a regular basis, so should the on duty Night Matron be called off site and the Health Centre calls for an unwell Pupil, you would be required to come on site.

The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to work with young people and be pro-active in their care. There will be a full induction provided upon start of employment.

The hourly rate of pay will be £10.39 (including holiday pay)

The King’s School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.

For any information about the above post please contact Claire Slater, Senior Matron. chs@kings-school.co.uk

Applications including a CV and Covering letter, addressed to Claire Slater (Senior Matron), should be submitted online, through the King’s School website, www.kings-school.co.uk.

For any further queries, or to request a paper application form, please contact HR on 01227 595733.

Closing date for Applications is Friday 27th September at Noon.
