Our Facilities team is based in Brasted, Kent and supports our 140 services and schools that operate across the country.

Job Description

We are looking for a Facilities Administrator for a short-term contract until November 2019. Our office is located in Brasted, Kent, four miles from Sevenoaks.

As Facilities Administrator, you will be assisting the Facilities Management team in the administration of the Brasted Office. You will also be the first point of contact for all facilities queries. You will be providing support for core facilities contracts, including utilities, travel booking, mobile phones and office supplies.

As Facilities Administrator, your main duties will include:

• Reception duties - Welcoming visitors, answering the telephone, dealing with post.
• Acting as the first point of contact for the Facilities help desk
• Assisting the Facilities Manager in the tendering of services and products and the subsequent monitoring and administration
• Maintaining a number of Facilities databases and spreadsheets
• Ensure central contracts - including mobile phones and utilities are properly administered.
• Set up and issue of Mobile phones
• Office management (Supplies, printers, refreshments etc.

Qualifications

To be successful as a Facilities Administrator you will need to have a strong focus on providing excellent customer service and have the confidence to liaise with services and managers at all levels. You will need to have a proactive approach with the ability to be hands-on.

In addition, we are looking for:

• Experience of working in a busy office,
• Understanding of Facilities management
• Basic understanding of Health and Safety practice and legislation
• Understanding of and willingness to promote excellent customer service
• Ability to manipulate financial data
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Understanding of Mobile phone functions
• Good telephone manner and confidence in speaking on the telephone.

Salary: £18,355 - £22,000 according to experience

Fixed-term contract to 30th November 2019
