Salary: £24,202 to £32,463 per annum

Hours: Full time. 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a capable and dynamic Lecturer to join the team at Hadlow or Greenwich.

The successful applicants will be involved in the delivery of a range of equine courses in Further and Higher Education and therefore must have practical experience of working in the equine industry, plus teaching experience in a practical and/or classroom setting. The minimum requirements for this role are a Level 4 equine qualification or above and a teaching certificate, or the willingness to work towards one. The College will support new unqualified lecturers with a reduced teaching commitment in their first year. Those staff will receive a bonus of £600.00 in the third year and £750.00 in their fourth year providing they have successfully gained their full teaching qualification at Hadlow College.

In addition to the minimum, requirements detailed above, candidates will also need a keen interest in a wide range of equine related subjects, excellent communication and IT skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Literacy and numeracy skills at Level 2 or equivalent are also essential.

As well as a contributory pension scheme and free car parking, this post also attracts 42 days holiday each year, excluding bank holidays.
Candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) and to provide proof of their right to work in the UK.
