High Halstow Primary Academy has a fantastic opportunity to appoint a talented and committed Teaching Assistant who will provide impactful support for pupils, both on a 1:1 or small group basis, who need extra support in the classroom. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in our pupils' development. You will be working in the classroom and implementing programmes of support designed specifically to meet the pupils’ needs. The role offer the chance for an motivated and nurturing individual who has experience in working with primary-aged children, who aspires to grow and develop as an outstanding Teaching Assistant within our Trust.

We are ambitious for all of our pupils and believe that a Teaching Assistant working with our talented teaching staff will enhance pupil’s learning experience. Our support staff ensure that they are well prepared and continuously develop themselves for the benefit of our pupils. We are unrelenting and graciously uncompromising. Ideally, you will already hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Teaching and Learning and will share our vision to support pupils to make better than expected progress in their learning as a result of your support of their learning.

Working with our academy: High Halstow Primary Academy is a one form entry village primary school with just over 200 pupils. It is ideally situated on the Hoo Peninsula with fantastic views and quiet surroundings as well as close links to the M2 and Medway Tunnel. This provides excellent opportunities for staff to work collaboratively with colleagues in other schools as well as high-quality professional development.

This is an important part of our vision as we know through experience that we perform better when we work together.
