Your chance to be part of our new academy! We have a great opportunity for a caring, personable and compassionate individual to join us in the role of Student Services Manager at the Leigh Academy Blackheath as we expand our intake for September 2019. This is an additional position and you will work closely with our existing Student Services Manager in ensuring we deliver first-rate pastoral care for our students. Responsible for managing the social, moral and spiritual well-being of the students across the college communities (in line with the Every Child Matters Agenda), with a particular focus on attendance, our successful candidate will liaise with parents, carers and outside agencies as required so strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Working directly with the Principal, Emma Smith, this is a great time to join us as we continue our journey!

The working basis of the role is Term Time plus 1 week of inset, 37 hours per week.

About Leigh Academy Blackheath: Leigh Academy Blackheath is part of Leigh Academies Trust, one of the most successful medium sized, multi academy trusts in the UK. Having opened in September 2018 with a Year 7 cohort of 180 students, we will reach full capacity in September 2022 with 900 students in Years 7-11, and 250 in our Sixth Form.
