Cat B Van Driver - Woolwich

We are currently seeking Cat B Van Drivers to fill a position in Woolwich. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid cat B Licence and must have Van driving experience.

On the job you will be tasked with the delivery of water bottles to businesses within the south east area. These can be large with most weighing around 20kg. Because of this some level of physical fitness will be required. Communicating with customers and dealing with orders will also mean you will need a good level of customer service.


Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 6am starts with a scheduled finish around 4pm

Some over time may be required.

Responsibilities of the Van Driver

Operate a Cat B Van to local areas, making deliveries, product pick up, etc.

Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.

Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner and prepare to return home.

Deliver a high level of customer service to all customers.

Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.

Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

The rate of pay for this position is £9.00 p/h (PAYE) - £11.00 p/h (LTD)
