An exciting opportunity has arisen within our HR Business Partner Team which would suit a dynamic and dedicated HR professional with CIPD level 5 or equivalent HR qualification and/or extensive relevant experience.

The role involves delivering advice and support to the Business Partner team and Council managers on a wide variety of employee relations activities including issues affecting individual members of staff, some of which may be complex and the implementation of organisational changes, TUPE’s and shared services.

Tasks include supporting managers in both Medway and Gravesham Councils in grievance, disciplinary, capability and absence management procedures; meaning you will carry a caseload as well as offering advice and guidance on a daily basis. You will also be responsible for designing and delivering training programmes, policy review and implementation, managing investigations and undertaking bespoke project work.

The post holder will be expected to work across both Medway and Gravesham sites.

There are two roles available, one is fixed term until December 2019. Please can you specify in your application if you are applying for the permanent or fixed term position. Please note both roles are part time.
